A busy week exploring Chinese new year, working and dining in a Chinese restaurant, exploring the year of the horse through dough and construction activities, writing Chinese symbols in sand, sensory play with noodles and rice. On Friday we had a Chinese food tasting session and took part in a Chinese New Year parade with flags and our homemade rice based instruments. We think it is lovely for the children to explore different cultures and their festivities .Happy Chinese New Year from all at Nursery 🐲🇨🇳
